Russall Lee Hogan, 57, of Smithland, Iowa died March 22, 2019, at Mercy One in Sioux City, Iowa.
Family would like to receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, March 29th. A Memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM. Both events are scheduled to occur at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel located at 1801 Morningside Ave. Sioux City, Iowa 51106.

Russ was born April 24,1961 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Ron and Sherry (Baldwin) Hogan. He grew up in Sioux City attending Sioux City Schools. Russ married Jo Ann Puls in 1978. He worked for Siouxland Scale and later worked construction for various companies. The couple divorced in 1987. Russ married Wendy Wilson in 1988. He attended Western Iowa Tech's auto body program graduating in 1991 and started working for Bort Auto body. The couple divorced in 2006. In 2009, he married Jackie Carlson. Russ was currently working for Kuehn Auto body as the body shop manager. 
Russ was always there to lend a helping hand to his family and friends, no matter if it was working on a car or doing construction work. His hobbies were working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed going on the Hot Rod Power Tour several times. Russ also loved riding and working on his Harley. 
Survivors include his wife Jackie of Smithland, IA; daughter, Kelli (Tony) Rigo of Pinedale, WY; four sons; Matt (Katie) Hogan of Mapleton, IA, Nick (Amber) Hogan of Sioux City, Cody Hogan of Spain, Caleb Hogan of Milwaukee, Oregon, eight grandchildren; Jack, Isabelle, Ian, Abigail, Nathaniel, Alyssa, Jacob, Bentley, three step grandchildren; Rowan, Luna, and Tamber. Parents; Ron and Sherry Hogan of Hartford, SD, two sisters; Shelley (Jeff) Stone of Sioux City and Kelli ( Kevin) Norton of Hartford, SD, several aunts and uncles along with numerous nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his brother Denny Hogan; grandparents Raymond and Vivien (Pete) Hogan, and Floyd and Ethel Baldwin.
