Lori Mackey Eilers

My husband and I live in Altoona, IA. I have been in ministry for more than 30 years. We have been married 39 years and have two kids. We moved away from Sioux City in 1988 and lived in the Des Moines area for about 18 years and then two years in Tennessee and two years in Texas while I was pastoring there. We moved back to Iowa in 2012. I worked for several years in the restaurant industry and nine years in a public middle school before going into ministry full time. I received my pastoral education through Global University. I enjoy networking, blogging, making bead jewelry, reading, spending time with family and friends. It's been great to reconnect with several East High people through Facebook!

High school was a difficult time for me as I had to work full time to help support my brothers and sister. It was hard to be involved in anything extra or hang out with friends but that was just what needed to be done for my family. I do remember how much I enjoyed Mr. Barnum's classes and he was a great encouragement to my creative side.
